Part III: How to
Unleash One’s Full Potential
Unleashing our full
potential is a matter of choice with right moves. We
must have the right course of thought and course of
action to experience high performance and good success.
But one thing we should not forget is that without God
we cannot do anything good. We truly need the help of
God in unleashing our concealed potential. In John 15:5,
the Lord Jesus said to His disciples, I am the vine, ye
are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in
him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me
ye can do nothing.
-Set godly goals in
life
Good attitude toward goals brings forth excellent
fortitude. Goal in life is a powerful motivator to
challenge an individual to do something great for a good
purpose. A goal-oriented person will never be a loser.
So much more, if we set goals for the glory of God.
Go
Beyond Your Dreams
Deeply
sleeping,
Unconsciously at rest,
Entering the gate of dreams,
To a
multi-coloured vision of the night,
In an
unknown dimension,
With
puzzling and passing dreams,
Coming
in the night,
Vanishing in the morning light,
Transient vanity perhaps,
Isn’t a
part of reality?
So good
to understand,
Not too
hard to believe.
Dream…
and dream again,
But be
not a mere dreamer,
Let
your full potential be unleashed,
Let
your Master be seen in you,
Pursue
your God-impressed goals in life,
Achieve
it in a graceful way,
Go
beyond your dreams,
Be as
God wants you to be.

-Accept challenges
Challenge is an invitation to success. We should
not ignore challenges, but accept them with composure.
-Understand the power
of teamwork
Working together with
individual differences is an admirable way of displaying
our professionalism and maturity. It also reveals our
deep understanding and good handling of
temperament-related misunderstanding. Teamwork is a
collective work of hard-working individuals with a goal
to advance and to demonstrate the power of synchronized
actions. The power of teamwork is yet to be realized by
self-seeking people. We must be warned that competition
within a team produces untimely defeat, but helping one
another brings forth historic success.
Building up a good team is not an overnight
accomplishment, but a continuing process. Nobody is
perfect in a team and it is a wise move to learn from
each other on a regular basis. Only God is perfect and
we should not forget to put Him first in our team. He
will guide and help us in every work we do. (See Mark
16:20)
Teamwork is a well-blended peculiarities of team
members, and there is no such thing as “one-man-show” in
a winning team. Every individual has role to play. It
could a front line job or behind the scene work, but
both are needful in a winning team.
-Realize the power of
sacrifice
Giving up good things for the best is brilliancy.
There are times when we are not in a position to reach
success, but through our sacrificial acts, unbelievable
task are being accomplished. Be kind also to others.
Kindness starts from the heart and ends up with an
extended hand.
-Have a deep commitment
Commitment energizes our lives to do more quality
works and greater achievements in life. It also deepens
our awareness regarding our responsibility and
accountability. We really need to make a personal
commitment in order to have a stronger attachment with
the company or organization we are working with. It will
make us more careful of what we are doing because we
know that we are accountable for the job that is
entrusted to us. As a good result, we will become more
engaged in doing quality work and gaining more
credibility in the area where we are specializing.
-Live in integrity
Integrity is an
incomparable treasure of a godly person.
·
Practice
professional ethics
·
Guard your
good name
The Bible says in Proverbs 22:1, A good
name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
and loving favour rather than silver and gold.
-Be a good steward
A good steward is a
reliable worker and a faithful servant.
-Be a new person in
Christ
Only God could change man’s life. A man’s New
Year resolution is a good start to remind him of his
desire to have a changed life, but regeneration through
repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the
only way for him to have salvation and Christ-like life.
The Bible says in II Corinthians 5:17, Therefore if any
man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are
become new.
·
Do things for
the glory of God
·
Serve God in
sincerity and in truth
·
Serve others
with a servant’s heart
